Hi, I’m Kevin —

New York City.
When I attended Stuyvesant High School in Manhattan, I received good grades in math — AP Calculus BC in junior year, and near-perfect SAT math. But I cared about other things that teenagers cared for and didn’t pursue a career in STEM.
Many years later, a graduate writing program changed everything. A professor who worked at IBM introduced a web content development concentration suited for the digital economy. I loved building websites from code — so I took every course on web design and development, and made a habit of reading programming books whenever I had time.
After graduating with a 4.0 GPA, I spent 14 years studying, freelancing, and contracting. I built sites for small businesses and large nonprofits. I published iOS and Android apps. I worked with designers and 10x engineers who taught me that elegance isn’t just how things look — and that a product no one loves is worthless, however well-engineered.
