Program overview
Vitamin & Code Website Inquiry Alerts is an SMS notification program operated by Vitamin Digital Media LLC, doing business as Vitamin & Code. It sends a text message when someone submits the contact form on a client business’s own website.
Recipients are that business’s owners and authorized staff who have individually opted in. Website visitors are never enrolled, and the program does not send marketing messages.
How enrollment works
Opt-in happens by email during client onboarding:
- Vitamin & Code emails each intended recipient individually with the invitation shown below.
- The recipient replies in writing, agreeing to receive the alerts and stating their mobile number.
- We retain the invitation, the reply, the consent date, and the authorized number.
- The number is added only after its reply is received.
- The first text confirms enrollment and repeats the STOP and HELP instructions.
Each person opts in for themselves; a business owner cannot enroll staff on their behalf. Participation is optional, and SMS consent is not required to purchase any service. Submitting a contact form or creating a client portal account does not enroll anyone.
The invitation email
Every intended recipient receives this email:
Sample consent reply
A recipient consents by replying to the invitation. The example below has identifying details redacted; actual replies are kept on file as consent records.
Messages you will receive
After consent is recorded, the first text confirms enrollment:
Each alert then identifies the sender and relays the details of a new submission to that business’s website contact form:
Opting out & getting help
Reply STOP to any message to unsubscribe. You will receive one confirmation, and no further alerts will be sent unless you opt in again. Reply HELP for help, or email kevin@vitamin.nyc.
Message frequency varies with website inquiries. Message and data rates may apply. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
The full program terms are in our Terms of Service, and our handling of mobile numbers and consent records is described in our Privacy Policy. Mobile information is never sold or shared with third parties for their marketing purposes.
